YAMAHA BB SERIES

I have played Yamaha basses since 1986.
For a couple of years in the end of the 1980´s I tried out a few other brands, 5-string basses and so on. But I never felt comfortable with them for some reasons. And I really didn´t understand  why at that time.
When changing back to my Yamaha BB1600 it was like waking up ! THIS was the way it should feel ! Since then I´ve tried out loads of other basses, but to me - nothing can beat the BB-Series !

SANSAMP ! Tech 21
Since 1996 I´ve used the sansamp - and I still do.
For recordings and live I only play through this one. Nothing else - and it works really good for me. Still, I haven´t found anything else that can beat it. Since 2008 I haven´t owned a rig of my own. With Therion we´ve only used the "in-ear-system" though I really don´t like it. But I´ve got used to it.  I prefer to feel the power  and sound of a real amp and loudspeaker on stage. We´ll see what the future might bring....
